The program aimed to support disadvantaged students, provide essential resources for the school and create opportunities for employees to directly participate in community-focused activities.
As part of the program, 500 children's books were donated to the school's library. The additional reading materials are expected to broaden students' access to books, provide more opportunities for learning and gradually encourage a reading habit among children.
Fifty gift packages were also presented to students facing difficult circumstances. Each package included a first-aid kit, school supplies and essential necessities to support the students in their daily lives and studies.
In addition to the donations, LG Innotek employees and volunteers directly prepared lunch portions for students and their family members. The company also donated milk, rice and cakes, along with more than 700 kilograms of clothing and warm clothes for local residents and students' parents ahead of the coming winter.
From books and meals to clothing and essential supplies, the “Warm Winter for Children” program demonstrated how corporate social responsibility activities can be built around the specific needs of local communities. The direct participation of employees also provided an opportunity for the company to connect its CSR activities with first-hand experiences and engagement with the local community.
For students in areas that continue to face socioeconomic challenges, the resources provided through the program can offer benefits beyond the event itself. Books can contribute to continued reading and learning activities, essential supplies can support daily life, while clothing and warm clothes can help children attend school during the colder months.
The program was coordinated with Thien Hoa Commune Youth Union and Tan Tien Ethnic Minority Semi-Boarding Primary School, with the participation of LG Innotek employees, volunteers, parents and local residents. Cooperation among businesses, social organizations and local authorities is an important factor in ensuring that community support activities respond to actual needs and make effective use of available resources.
Through the “Warm Winter for Children 2025” program, the participating organizations aimed to provide practical support for children in mountainous communities while promoting a more engaged approach to corporate social responsibility, connecting direct participation with long-term contributions to local communities.
