Vietnam's sustainable development statistical indicators

Since 10 March 2025, Vietnam has applied a new set of 145 statistical indicators for sustainable development, replacing the 158-indicator set issued in 2019. On Sustainability 360° (Bền vững 360°), FTS CSRA experts list all 145 indicators across the 17 goals, explain how they are collected and published, and show how companies and organizations can link their data to the national indicators.

SDG Impact Standards – Impact management standards for the SDGs

Many companies claim to contribute to the SDGs, but few can show it is properly managed in strategy and operations. UNDP's SDG Impact Standards set practice standards for exactly that. On Sustainability 360° (Bền vững 360°), FTS CSRA experts analyse the four standards, their practice content, the path from self-assessment to the SDG Impact Seal and the link with ISO/UNDP 53001, launched in 2026.

B4SI – Business for Societal Impact

How much a company spends on communities is easy to count; what change that spending creates is what investors and society care about. On Sustainability 360° (Bền vững 360°), FTS CSRA experts introduce the B4SI framework: measuring inputs, outputs and impacts of community investment, the three motivation categories, the depth-of-impact scale and how to apply it to CSR programmes in Vietnam.

SDGs – 17 Sustainable Development Goals

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are the shared language of governments, companies and civil society to 2030, yet many reports stop at adding icons. On Sustainability 360° (Bền vững 360°), FTS CSRA experts set out all 17 goals, the 169 targets, suggested indicators for companies, how Vietnam localises the SDGs and how to link activities to the SDGs in a meaningful way.

SROI – Social Return on Investment and the principles of social value

How much value does each dong spent on a social programme create for the community? SROI answers with a ratio, but the number is only credible when the principles are followed. On Sustainability 360° (Bền vững 360°), FTS CSRA experts explain the eight principles of social value, the six analysis stages, four impact adjustments and how to calculate the SROI ratio, with a worked example and notes for Vietnam.

OECD-DAC – Six programme evaluation criteria

A programme can complete all its activities yet still fail to create lasting change. The six OECD-DAC criteria help answer that question systematically. On Sustainability 360° (Bền vững 360°), FTS CSRA experts explain each criterion's definition, sample evaluation questions and indicators, a reference rating scale and how to apply them to ODA projects, social programmes and CSR in Vietnam.

IRIS+ – Impact management metrics system

To compare impact across projects, you first need the same measuring stick. The GIIN's IRIS+ is the impact metrics catalogue most widely used by investors, with about 780 standardised, coded metrics. On Sustainability 360° (Bền vững 360°), FTS CSRA experts explain the IRIS+ structure, what metric codes mean, how to pick Core Metrics Sets and how companies and funds in Vietnam can apply them.

Impact Frontiers – Five Dimensions of Impact

Saying “the project has positive impact” is not enough. You need to answer what impact, for whom, how much, what your real contribution is and what the risks are. On Sustainability 360° (Bền vững 360°), FTS CSRA experts explain the Five Dimensions of Impact stewarded by Impact Frontiers, the 15 data categories, nine impact risk types and the ABC classification, with examples for companies and funds in Vietnam.

Theory of Change

Every social programme rests on a belief that doing A will lead to change B, yet that belief is rarely written down and tested. On Sustainability 360° (Bền vững 360°), FTS CSRA experts show how to build a Theory of Change: its components, indicators at each link, eight quality-check criteria and how to apply it to projects in Vietnam.
